From Hamilton Elementary in City Heights, reporter Joe Little features the "H2O, Where Did You Go?" show, sponsored by the San Diego County Water Authority.

Performed by Shows That Teach ( http://www.showsthatteach.com ), the show uses comedy and music to teach elementary school children about the water cycle, states of matter, water facts, and the importance of conservation. The Water Authority was able to expand the school theater program this year thanks to a generous grant from the Hans Doe Foundation.

The Water Authority's education program also offers classroom presentations, a library display, and the Splash Science Mobile Lab to teach children the value of water.

Students can also win four tickets to a local attraction by filling out the Water Authority's water-saving pledge online. More details can be found at http://www.20gallonchallenge.com/scho...

The Emergency Storage Project is a system of reservoirs, interconnected pipelines and pumping stations designed to make water available to the San Diego region in the event of an interruption in imported water deliveries.  For more information, visit www.sdcwa.org/emergency-storage-project.

Faced with court-ordered cutbacks in water deliveries from Northern California and lingering effects of dry conditions locally and around the West, the San Diego County Water Authority implemented a comprehensive advertising and marketing campaign to promote voluntary water conservation.
